Auturnal Visions by eriban Auturnal Visions by eriban
My entry to Apo Weekly Challenge No 47. The goal was to use the Lazy Susan and Julia N variations together.

This is my first entry to the challenge. Constructive criticism is of course much appreciated.

Thanks. Given that I created this in response to a challenge, I did try to make it a bit unusual. No harm in making it stand out a bit I thought...

No harm at all :D I like unusual fractals!

Really nice work. I love the abstractness of it!

Thanks. When I started working on this fractal, I did not have a clear goal in mind, but I liked the end result of this particular exploration.

I think it takes a while to get to the stage where you can actually produce what you set out to do. Working in UF I constantly get distracted by the beauty of the colours and shapes. Often newer members produce much more individual work as they haven't yet been influenced by "popularity contests". Look forward to seeing your talent grow :)

Thanks. I prefer to construct fractals with a clear goal in mind, instead of using random exploration to find interesting ones. That requires knowing the basics and being familiar with the main variations and techniques, so currently just busy learning those. I might generate some nice fractals along the way, but that's currently not my focus. Let's just see where this takes me...

Thanks for the feature. I am very honored.

The only problem is, this was one of my first fractals. What else do I have to aim for now? It will be all downhill from here probably… ;-)

Really?  I'm surprised!  Well, if that's one of your first, you can only improve from there I'd have thought!  Thing is, don't even try to do more things to impress, just create things you enjoy, and that way you'll develop your unique style
